Foreign investors to visit Lanao Sur golden anniversary fete

Marawi City (25 June) -- Foreign dignitaries will arrive in Lanao del Sur to grace the 50th founding anniversary of the province.
This was revealed by Governor Mamintal Adiong, Jr. who said foreign dignitaries and investors will be coming not only to grace the golden anniversary celebration but also to look for prospective investments in the province.
"Darating itong mga investors para tingnan kung anong maitutulong nila sa mga kapatid nating Muslim," Gov. Adiong said.
The Governor is optimistic that the coming over of prospective foreign investors shows the growing business confidence in the province.
Provincial Information Officer Nasser Ganda, Sr., meanwhile, said that preliminary talks have been conducted between these investors and the provincial government stressing that they are interested in investing in the province.
Ganda said that dignitaries from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) include its Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary Mohammad Ameen Wali, Dr. Abdullah Bin Omar Nasif, Mu'tamar Al Alam Al Islamie as well as Sheik Osama Abubakr Al-Howasi and Dr. Mohammad Awad Urban, both from Saudi Whameed, Ltd.
While Libyan dignitaries include Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Sharief, Secretary General of the World Islamic Call Society and Dr. Muhammad E. Ballushi, Charge d' Affaires of Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Embassy.
Ganda said that the visit of foreign dignitaries is a sign that investors' confidence is high in the province. (PIA-Marawi City) [top]
