NGCP-SLOM presents first batch of lineperson scholar graduates

By Anna Kathrina F. Nava

Lucena City (26 June) -- "Together, we are better!" This was what Mr. Gildo R. Listano, OIC SLOM Regional Head, said in his inspirational message to the graduates of the first NGCP-SLOM Basic Lineperson Training (BLT) at its closing ceremony at Nawawalang Paraiso Resort, Tayabas, Quezon, last June 3.

The training which was conducted from May 13 to June 2 has successfully produced a total of 21 BLT graduates whose potential services can be tapped within the shortest time possible during emergency restoration and other maintenance activities.

These graduates also carry with them the advantage of getting hired as NGCP's line personnel when need arises and the opportunity to apply for overseas work as a lineperson.

With great opportunities awaiting the NGCP-SLOM's first batch of lineperson scholar graduates, these fresh, young and vibrant lineperson aspirants have graduated with high hopes for a better future.

The top achievers who are all from Gumaca, Quezon are as follows:

Overall Top Notcher - ALVIN P. FRANCIA
    Special Awards:
BANNISTER T. BELLEZA (1st Rank in Written Exam)
CARLO ANGELO G. CORACERO (1st Rank in Practical Exam)

SLOM Human Resources Department and the Corp. Communication Group (CCG) have worked together to make this training program a success. (PIA) [top]
