Tagalog News: 160 nurses, natulungan ng DOLE sa programang NARS

Lucena City (30 June) -- Umabot sa 160 katao na pawang mga nurse ang natulungan ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-Quezon) na magkaroon ng trabaho sa pamamagitan ng programang Nurse Assigned in Rural Areas (NARS).

Ayon kay G. Virgilio Magsino, hepe ng nasabing tanggapan, nasa 32 bayan din sa Quezon ang kanilang natulungan sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng mga nurse na tutulong sa mga taong may karamdaman.Ang programang ito ay kaugnay din sa mga programa ni Pangulong Arroyo na makalikha ng milyong trabaho para sa mga mamamayan na walang trabaho.

Kabilang sa mga bayan na benipiyaryo ng programange ito ay ang bayan ng Agdangan, Alabat, Atimonan, Buenavista, Burdeos, Calauag, Catanauan, General Luna, General Nakar, Guinayangan, Gumaca, Jomalig, Lopez, Macalelon, Mauban, Mulanay, Padre Burgos, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Perez, Pitogo, Plaridel, Polillo, Quezon, Quezon, Real, San Andres, San Antonio, San Francisco, San Narciso, Sariaya, Tagkawayan at Unisan, Quezon.

Ang mga nasabing bayan na kabilang sa mga tinatawag na poorest municipalities ay pinagkalooban ng DOLE ng tig-lilimang nurse para tumulong sa mga taong may sakit.

Ayon sa ulat ng DOLE-Quezon, umabot sa P15,360,000.00 ang pondong kanilang nai-release sa pagpapatupad ng programang Nurse Assigned in Rural Areas (NARS). (PIA-Quezon) [top]
