Capiz 'brand' to help promote quality products, services internationally

Roxas City (1 October) -- Capiceņos are one in providing local and international clients with quality products and services.
Trade and Industry Provincial Director Ermelinda Pollentes said that "Capiz products and services need to have a branding since it goes with quality."
She said that with a "brand" of the Capiz products and services, clienteles of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs and frontline service providers will be ensured of quality products and services locally and internationally.
Pollentes acknowledged during the Market Development and Branding Seminar held in Roxas City today the active partnership of the various sectors, particularly the national government agencies, non-government organizations, local government units, business and almost all sectors, in coming up with a provincial brand.
She explained that the provincial brand will provide uniform identity for all the products and services that are produced, manufactured or delivered in the province of Capiz.
International lifestyle designer PJ Araņador, who has been Capiz DTI's consultant in coming up with the design, was here for the critiquing session of the proposed provincial brand design with multi-sectoral representatives.
DTI has been helping in promoting Capiz products and services to be globally competitive.
Capiz province has been known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines as well as the Garden Center in the Visayas. (PIA) [top]
