Negros Occidental prov'l vet holds first paravet assembly

Bacolod City (7 October) -- The Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) held the First Paravet District Assembly at San Carlos City, recently.

The activity were participated by 149 para-veterinarians (paravet) of District I, is aimed at strengthening services to farmers and animal raisers in Negros Occidental.

The 149 para-veterinarians came from Calatrava, Toboso, Escalante, San Carlos and Don Salvador Benedicto.

Dr. Renante Decena, provincial veterinary, said that the assembly is a springboard towards the advancement of technical knowledge of the paravets through continous and sufficient technical training to better attend the veterinary needs of farmers and animal raisers. (PIA) [top]
