PNRC Iligan launches 'Operation Tabang' for typhoon victims

Iligan City (7 October) -- The Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), Iligan City chapter, is accepting donations from individuals and groups to provide and extend assistance to victims of this unwanted catastrophe in Metro Manila and Luzon.
PNRC Governor Henry C. Dy, chairman of the Board of Directors, PNRC, Iligan City Chapter, said they opted to accept cash donations for the local chapter to send it at areas affected.
But for those who shall have their assistance / donations in any kind, we shall accept it with accord and with receipts for all donations entrusted to us, said Governor Dy.
We are holding the 'Operation Tabang' at the public plaza, the city's core and accessible place for donors and benevolent individuals to go and deliver their assistance.
This is the third day of our appeal for asking donations to help alleviate the conditions of the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, which caused loss of lives and livelihood, severe damage to properties and mass displacements, expressed Governor Dy. (PIA Lanao del Norte) [top]
