Tagum exec sponsors 2009 invitational basketball cup

Tagum City (13 October) -- City Mayor Jose L. Silvosa, Sr. together with Cong. Antonio P. Lagdameo and Kiwanis Club of Panabo headed by Mr. Edwin Barriga will be sponsoring an Invitational Basketball Cup 2009, at ARF Gym, this city.

The tournament is properly designed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship as will as entertainment, hoping to divert the attention booth young and old to sports rather than drugs and vices which only destroys our future, love one and community.

This invitational basketball Cup 2009 is composed of class B commercial players with in region XI, which will be opened on October 11, 2009, 3 PM.

Participating Team are bracketed into A & B with elimination result: top two cross over. bracket A are the following: SBB, PWD Sanman, Goldstar & Labasa Aces; while bracket B teams are: Phil health, TADECO selection, Gavina and Luzviminda. (CIO-Tagum) [top]
