Tagum sends personnel for supervisory training
Davao City (14 October) -- With the effort of the City Government of Tagum led by Mayor Rey Uy, under the full implementation of LGUs Reorganizational Structure, twelve (12) personnel holding supervisory positions in the LGU while three (3) DepEd School Principals were jointly sent to Civil Service Commission Regional Office in Davao City for the Basic Supervisory Development Course.
Organized by Human Resource and Management Office, Mayor Rey Uy has directed in his memorandum some identified key personnel to undergo enhancement workshop to extend better services to the people of Tagum.
"Your role is very crucial in the life of our organization, equip yourselves with knowledge and skills in responding to the requirements of the job," stated Mayor Rey Uy.
Supervisory skills in a service-oriented LGU Tagum is needed most to reach the optimum service for its people. The supervisory nature and the understanding on human behavior were primarily discussed for an in-depth perception of internal operations. Building an effective team and the elaboration of the power of communication were strongly emphasized to meet the organizational targets in conformity with the LGUs Vision and Mission.
Under the watch of CSC 11 regional director Annabelle Rosell, the course was well attended by 48 participants all over Region 11. She organized the team of speakers in the person of CSC Asst. Regional Director Lilia Clamor, CSC Davao Sur provincial director Erlinda Hofileña and CSC Region XI Officer Maria Nilda Rigodon.
