Tubod, Lanao del Norte (16 October) -- Under the Kabaranggayan Sigurado Program, which is a Quibranza-Dimaporo flagship, Governor Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo distributed tents and mono-block chairs to 14 barangays in the municipality of Bacolod recently.
The young Chief Executive of Lanao del Norte told the recipients that these things can significantly ease the trouble of having to stand under the sun or rain as the case may be when meetings and other occasions are conducted in their respective barangays.
"Ang tents and chairs na ito ay pwedeng gamitin pag may meetings ang senior citizens, youth, women or other sectors. Pwede rin ito sa may funerals, weddings, birthdays, baptism or other celebrations that the residents may hold. Mag-request lang kayo sa Barangay Captain for its use (these tents can be used for meetings of senior citizens, youth, women and other sectors. These can also be used for funerals, weddings, birthdays, baptism or other celebrations that the residents may hold. You only have to request the barangay for its use)," Dimaporo said.
Should residents wish to use them, rules, regulations and requirements set by the barangay council should be complied with.
The 14 barangays received one unit tent and 20 units mono-block chairs each which will be for the use of their respective communities.
The recipient 14 barangays in Bacolod town include Alegria, Babalaya, Babalaya Townsite, Binuni, Delabayan West, Dimarao, Esperanza, Kahayag, Liangan East, Mate, Minaulon, Demologan, Pagayawan and Poblacion.
