Roads undergoing concreting work opened for public use in time for Buglasan

Dumaguete City (22 October) -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) here has assured that road areas undergoing road concreting projects in Dumaguete City is now open in time for the Buglasan Festival of Festivals celebration.
Engr. Edna Ravelo, DPWH Chief of Planning and Design here, said that the public can now use the four road sections within the city which has earlier been partially closed to public use due to the ongoing road concreting work.
Ravelo disclosed that there are four road concreting projects implemented in the city affecting the Dumaguete North Road (along the city limit), airport road from Silliman University (SU) to the SU Farm, Real Street from PNB up to Robinson's, and the Dumaguete South Road specifically Perdices Street going to the City Limit in the south.
"These roads are now open for public use," said Ravelo.
She added that said road projects are also expected to be fully completed in time for the Dumaguete City fiesta celebration.
