Integrated art workshop held in Bacolod City
Bacolod City (23 October) -- The City government through the Department of Social Services and Development and the National Anti-Poverty Commission of Person with Disability Sector, held the closing activity for the three-day “integrated Art Workshop” for youth with dis-ability at the New Government Center, recently.
Bacolod City Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson said this gave a chance to the disabled enhance their capabilities and show to others the talents they have.
Bacolod City Councilor Homer Bais, said this is the output of what the participants had learned during the three-day workshops and this presentation showcased their unique abilities as individuals.
The activity was also a cultural and creative final presentation of the 35 youth, who were mentally challenged and children with autism from Special Education and Bacolod City National High School. (PIA/cad) [top]
