Two big companies offer good jobs at DOLE, ABS-CBN Jobs Fair

Tacloban City (October 25) -- The Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. Tacloban Plant and the Bench Company Robinsons Tacloban Branch participated in the one-day local and overseas jobs fair held on October 24, 2009 at the Leyte SMED Center, Tacloban City.

Coca Cola had job openings for fifty (50) account developers for graduates of any college course preferably marketing-related. The applicants must know how to drive and with valid professional driver’s license, possess good communication and coaching skills, with above average numerical ability and willingness to do field work.

Coca Cola also offered an opening for a district team leader who directly reports to the Territory Manager and would be responsible for the areas of sales operations. The qualifications needed include diploma in business course preferably major in Marketing with at least 5 years experience in sales or marketing operations and 2 years of which in supervisory or team leader role.

The Human Bench based in Robinsons Tacloban, on the other hand, offered job openings for store supervisor, cashiers, stock clerk and sales crew.

The recruitment activity was sponsored by the ABS-CBN Tacloban thru its “Trabaho Patrol” program in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

Director Forter Puguon of the Department of Labor and Employment, said that job applicants must always be ready with the basic documentary requirements such as resume, diploma, transcript of records, NBI clearance, Passport for overseas applicants, employment certification and other relevant documents.
