Dost-12 eyes cleaner environment technology
Koronadal City (27 October) -- The global call to save the mother earth is getting sounder, but before anything gets late, The Department of Science and Technology 12 is making its steps to address global warming issues.
Recently, Training on Capability Building on Food Safety and Cleaner Production was conducted among the employees of DOST 12 regional office.
Through the Science and Technology Departmentís Integrated Program on Cleaner Production Technologies, experts from Industrial Technology Development Institute of DOST head office visited the region to share their expertise in the said advocacy.
The program aims to address waste minimization, environment friendly technologies and cost minimization among key industry players and consumers where DOST 12 is putting its direction.
Timely and relevant to the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program of DOST 12 in the region wherein technology transfer and assistance are driven among local industry producers.
The insights from training would help the technical personnel of DOST 12 in guiding SMEís on their environmental compliance while helping them reduce operational costs into a clean and healthy environment.
