Hiligaynon News: Mga kasugtanan nagabulig pabaskog relasyon sang RP kag China

Manila (30 October) -- Duha ka mga kasugtanan nga ginalauman makabulig pabaskog sang relasyon sa tunga sang Pilipinas kag China ang ginpirmahan sini lang.

Suno sa Malacanang ang Philippines-China Joint Action Plan for Strategic Cooperation (PCJAPSC) kag ang Philippines-China Consular Agreement (PCCA) gin pirmahan nanday Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo sang Pilipinas kag Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi sang China sa isa ka seremonya sa Malacanang.

Ginsaksihan ni Presidente Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, kag upod sa iban pa nga mga opisyales sang duha ka mga nahinambitan nga mga pungsod, nagdayaw sang ila wpagpaninguha nga mapaayo kag mapabaskog ang relasyon.

Ang PCJAPSC pahamtang sang detalyado nga general strategic directions sang bilateral cooperation sa masunod nga lima ka tuig samtang nga ang PCCA amo naman ang nahauna nga consular agreement nga napirmahan sang Philippinas kag sang PROC pagkatapos sang Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.

"The PCJAPSC covers the gamut of economic, political, people to people, trade, investment, tourism and all the important aspects of the relation that we have" between the two countries, Ang pahayag ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Rolmulo.

"We are looking forward to the Strategic Joint Action Plan to have more activities between the two countries," dugang pa nga pahayag ni Romulo.

Ang Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (VCCR) nakompleto sadtong 1963 bilang isa ka multilateral treaty agod ma-codify ang mga consular practices nga na-developed pinaagi sa customary international law, madamo nga mga kasugtanan bilateral, kag subong man madamo nga mga regional treaties o kasugtanan.

"This (PCCS) will help facilitate the consular relationship between the two countries and in particular help our countrymen who go to China," ang pahayag ni Romulo. (PIA6) [top]
