Telof, TESDA to conduct free basic computer literacy training

Bontoc, Mt. Province (31 October) -- Citing the relevance of computer literacy skills, two key government agencies here agreed to conduct a 5-day Basic Computer Literacy Training on November 9 - 13 to be held at the Mountain Province Multi-Purpose Building.
Jointly sponsored by the Telecommunication Office, Commission on Information and Communication Technology (Telof - CICT) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the computer literacy program aims to promote the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the use ICT in the fast evolving digital age.
As stipulated in the Memorandum of Agreement, Telof-CICT will provide the honorarium of trainors and speakers as well as the personal computers and it peripherals needed in the training. TESDA, on the other hand, will take charge of the board and lodging of trainors, reproduction of handouts, prepare the training venue and make the certificates of completion for the trainees.
Participants to the training are anybody ages 18 years old and above for as long as they finished second year high school.
Interested trainees are requested to register at the TESDA office, 2nd Floor Mountain Province Multi-Purpose Building. (PIA/MP) [top]
