Kalahi visits Quezon

Real, Quezon (21 January) -- The Regional KALAHI Convergence Group (RKCG) composed of various government agencies, and in coordination with the AFP and PNP recently held a "Talakayan Bayan" with the theme "Kasiguruhan sa Kinabukasan, Hanap-Buhay at Paninirahan".
The activity which was participated in by local the residents and members of teh Katipunan ng mga Samahan ng mga Maralitang Magsasaka (KASAMAKA-Real Cluster) aims to give support in order to uplift their living condition.
True to its theme, the RKCG headed by DSWD Regional Director Thelsa P. Biolena committed to the residents livelihood programs, free education and livelihood skills training.
Meanwhile, Real Mayor Arsenio Ramallosa stood firm with his order to rehabilitate forest and natural environment through massive reforestation. His other programs include provision of water systems for potable water; distribution of hybrid coconut seedlings, and provision of permanent shelters to the residents. (PIA Laguna) [top]
