Zambo bombing suspects post bail

Zamboanga City (22 August) -- The three suspects in the August 10 twin bombings in the city are set to be released through the Regional Trial Court's (RTC) order after the three posted bail.

City Reformatory Center OIC Col. Eduardo Tagaoc said the release of the suspects would take effect as soon as they are cleared by the Court of other pending cases if there are any.

Col. Tagaoc, however, said they would still maintain tight security in the city jail even with the release of the three bombing suspects.

The suspects claim that they are innocent of the charges filed against them and that they were in the city to complete necessary documents from the DFA for the travel of their loved ones to abroad. (PIA-9) [top]
