Exam for brokers, appraisers set Nov. 26
Davao City (8 November) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Southern Mindanao is inviting interested individuals to take up the real estate brokers and appraisers examination set on November26.
The examination, which is being spearheaded by the Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection, will be conducted simultaneously on November 26 in the cities of Quezon, Angeles, Lucena, Cebu, Butuan, and Davao.
In Davao, it will be held at the DTI office, Mintrade Building, Monteverde Avenue corner Sales Street, Davao City.
Applicants must submit their application along with a photocopied proof of educational attainment (e.g. diploma, certification form from registrar, etc.) to the DTI-National Economic Research and Business Assistance Center (DTI-Nerbac Davao ) on or before November 20.
A testing fee of P250.00 will be collected from each applicant.
DTI Assistant Secretary Merly M. Cruz said such examination is very important so that real estate brokers and appraisers can practice their profession and transact business with clients.
Based on the Code of Ethics for realty service practitioners, they should indicate the license number of the certificate issued by DTI in their letterhead, dry seal, signboard, billboard, advertisement or other announcement in relation to the realty service practice.
