Guardians to help keep Davao communities from harm

Davao City (14 November) -- Councilor Jimmy Dureza, chair of the committee on peace and order called on the newly-inducted officers of the Guardians Philippines, Inc. (GPI) Anti-Crime Davao City Engineers chapter to help the government in its fight against terrorism, insurgents, drug menace and keep the communities from harm.
Councilor Dureza who represented Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was the inducting officer of the newly-elected officers of GPI Anti-Crime DCE Sunday (Nov 12) held at Dencio restaurant, Davao City. Other Guardian chapters in region eleven were also inducted into office participated in by more than 500 newly-elected officers in southern Mindanao.
"City Mayor Duterte is on the verge of wiping out drug lords in his continuous and relentless campaign against prohibited drugs and we must unite with him and remain alert to protect our people especially our children who are most vulnerable in the proliferation of prohibited drugs", he said.
"Enemies of the government will try to divert our vigilance but we and the Guardians must stand fast and take this fight with our City Mayor and pull them out of their lairs and sanctuaries, he further said as he urged officers and members of Guardians to also help government in rebuilding their respective communities through better jobs and livelihood to be more productive.
