Davao City (9 March) -- IT is only a certification but it is a certification delivered to your address and with the Chairman and CEO of the largest and most advanced software manufacturer in the world signifying that you are IT-educated.
This, aside from having a credential that is world-class and globally accepted.
Such is now possible without having to travel to Manila with the formal launching of the Microsoft Philippines training and testing center in Davao City earlier announced in a press conference Thursday at the Marco Polo Hotel by MS country manager Mylene Castillo.Castillo said the training center is made possible through the partnership with Edupro represented by Jaime Garchitorena and IThink Technologies by Jun Mercader.
Mercader said "for every training there is a certificate to be sent to you with no less than the Microsoft president and CEO's signature on it."
It is recognized worldwide, wherever you go, Mercader added.
Garchitorena, for his part said "our trainers are unique and special individuals who are very updated in Microsoft-certified curriculum design by MIcrosoft and the courses are clear, systematic and modular."
LIkewise, Castillo, the Microsoft country manager said that the training materials which are constantly updated are guaranteed to be the same training materials used worldwide.
What is amazing with this training is that according to Garchitorena, the technology you will learn in four years are compiled in a 7-course tract immediately usable and certified after 27 days of classroom teaching.
He said the seven lessons are separate modular course and authenticated and certified by the systems engineers of Microsoft.
The cost is heavily subsidized considering that this form of learning is being taught in Manila for P25,000 a day while a 5-day course to be introduced in Davao City is just about the same price, according to the Edupro general manager.Mercader also disclosed that the site for this purpose has been identified since the year 2000 at the MERCO compound of Cabaguio Avenue, this city. For a start, it will have a capacity of 36 students in two different classrooms with a student-computer facility ratio of one is to one and use of other equipment such as modern projectors.
