Free kidney check at NKTI
Quezon City (19 June) -- The last leg of National Kidney and Transplant Institute's (NKTI) free kidney check up project will be held this week.
Dubbed as Kidney Check, the project is one of biggest activities of NKTI for the Kidney Month celebration.
NKTI is reminding the public that the free services under Kidney Check are limited to the first one hundred patients who would register each day from June 19 to June 21.
Registration starts at 7 am.
Tests for the free kidney check up include Urinalysis, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Creatinine and Cholesterol.
Patients who may want to have FBS should refrain from eating and drinking including water intake by midnight-fasting the night before laboratory examinations.
Kidney Check services on June 22 will be dedicated to the relatives and immediate families of NKTI staff.
