Davao horse show slated

Davao City (19 July) -- The Davao Horse Club in conjunction with the Philippine Sports Commission will present the 10th Davao Horse Show and Competition and the 1st National Equestrial Qualifying Event in Mindanao.

The Davao Horse Show is much awaited yearly event for horse-riding aficionados and for the curious public. While the 1st National Equestrian Qualifying Event marks the growth of equestrian sport in the country as it expands here in Mindanao.

The horse-riding event will be held at the Marina Park and Stables in Matina Aplaya in Davao City, this coming July 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday). The event will feature Gymkhana (western games done in horseback) and Show Jumping and Equitation.

The public is invited to come to the premiere horsing event in the city of which admission is free. The event is also participated by the Equestrian Association of the Philippines. For more information you can call the Marina Park Stables at (082) 297-8213. (PIA) [top]
