NPA atrocity leads to execution
Davao City (1 August) -- More or less thirty (30) alleged fully armed members of communist terrorists/ NPAs operating in Sallapadan, Abra forcibly took one Ulysis Cabudol Dapet, 26 years old, single, helper and a resident of Brgy Sallapadan, Sallapadan, Abra from his residence on July 25, 2007 between 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
Investigation disclosed that the victim was brought towards the southwest direction of said barangay particularly at a forested area approximately one kilometer away.
Accordingly, interview conducted by personnel of Sallapadan MPS to relatives of the victim who secretly followed and witnessed the incident revealed that upon arrival at the said place, the NPAs commanded the victim to kneel down and thereafter stabbed the victim twice on his neck and hit his frontal and sub-occipital area with a hard object that caused his instant death.
