North Face supports "Climb For A Cause"

Davao City (26 October) -- "Our Passion is beyond setting records and achieving fame. For us, it's all about changing lives, not just our lives, but also, the lives of those people who inspire us to aim for extraordinary dreams."
With this vision statement, North Face has encouraged well-meaning citizens, corporate and individuals to continue supporting the "Climb For A Cause Expedition" spearheaded by Filipino Mt. Everest conqueror Romi Garduce.
North Face issued the call in a beautifully-worded brochures distributed to members of the Davao media Thursday during the reintroduction of a bigger and more colorful display centers of its three sports-travel accessories distributing stores namely, Travel Club, BratPack and The North Face at the ground floor of SM Mall of Davao City.
"As early as 2004, The North Face, together with Romi Garduce's "Climb For A Cause" project has contributed to several causes and charities. Inspired by this undertaking, we have committed to continue the cause and the spirit," the statement said.
Describing the cause-oriented move as "Our Passion", North Face further stated that "Like a steep climb of Mt. Everest, we take each opportunity one step at a time, with a vision to effect positive change in the lives of millions of Filipinos who are facing their own Everest of poverty, poor health, abused environment and neglected rights of the children."
