ILAGAN, Isabela (November 15) -- Two of Isabela's administration congressmen have extended their condolences to the bereaved family of their fellow lawmaker in Mindanao who was killed while he is about to leave the house of representatives premises after attending the house regular session last night.

Congressmen Giorgidi Aggabao (4th district) and Edwin Uy (2nd District) were saddened on the untimely death of Basilan Congressman Wahab Akbar, including two others and caused injury to some house members and employees when bomb exploded in the Batasang Pambansa South Wing entrance.

Congressman Aggabao said that the house of representatives' security is too loose by the time the incident happened.

"The bomb explosion could have been prevented if the house security officials are tightly imposing stringent security checks on all incoming vehicles and individuals entering the house premises" Aggabao said.

Second District Congressman Edwin Uy has expressed dismay over the reported bomb blast in Congress' premises.

Uy was not in Congress last night due to commitments in the Provincial Government attending an important activity in the province.

The last termer lawmaker in Isabela's 2nd District said that security lapses is seen as the primary reason of the blast.
