Cebuano News: Bridges program gilusad ni PGMA

Manila (November 19) -- Sa paglusad ni Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sa Bridges Program sa niaging semana, gilauman nga mas madali ang pagkab-ot sa kalinaw dinhi sa nasod.

Ang programa nga inisyatiba sa ASEAN may temang "Bridges: Dialogues Towards A Culture of Peace," nagtinguha pagsabwag sa mensahe sa kalinaw og kalambuan sa mga nasod nga sakop sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations diin miyembro ang Pilipinas.

Tumong sa maong programa ang pagkab-ot sa kalinaw pinaagi sa pagpalambo sa siyensiya, teknolohiya, og edukasyon.

Ubos sa programa, ang mga Nobel Prize Winners nga giila sa ilang kontribusyon ang molibot sa mga unibersidad og ubang eskwelahan sa nasod aron manguna sa pulong-pulong.

Pipila kanila mao si David Jonathan Gross (Physics- University of California), Finn Erling Kydland (Economics-Carnegie Mellon University), David Baltimore (Medicine-California Institute of Technology), Aaron J. Ciechanover (Chemistry-Technion Israel Institute of Techonology), President Jose Ramos-Horta (Peace-Timor Leste), og James D. Wolfensohn (Investment Banking - Wolfensohn and Company).
