PGMA remains focused on Super Regions development – Bunye
Manila (18 December) -- "President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo remains focused in completing her Super Regions development project despite its accompanying Pulse Asia survey result which is a propaganda issue, despite the political noise and economic disturbances," Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesperson Ignacio R. Bunye said.
The latest Pulse Asia survey results that showed President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is the most corrupt President in the Philippine history was actually for propaganda purposes because respondents are biased against the Incumbent and not being able to recall misdeeds of past Administrations, Secretary Bunye said.
Despite of these the President remains focused on the Super Regions development and she will not allow any distractions to stand in the way of the economy, Bunye said.
"The momentum is strong and our people can be assured that the fruits of growth will be delivered right into their doorstep every single day moving up and forward," he added.
He called on the Filipino people to set aside political differences and unite because "we need sustained unity, productivity and excellence combined with strong leadership to pull the train of Philippine stability and prosperity forward." (PIA) [top]
