Town exec lists priority programs, projects

DIVILICAN, Isabela (February 4) -- The town's local chief executive here has lined-up its priority programs and projects geared towards the attainment of development in this eastern Isabela coastal town.

Mayor Venturino Bulan, who ran unopposed in the 2007 national and local elections, said that he wanted to return back the trust and confidence of Divilicans through an honest and dedicated public service for their welfare.

Among the programs and projects that Mayor Bulan wanted to be implemented in his town are the continuation of college scholarship program, constructions of market stalls, cottage in barangay Dicarauyan, pavilion of Dimapula and construction of offices for national government agencies stationed in the municipality.

He said more projects are programmed for implementation under his leadership and the top priority is the construction of road going to Palanan, Isabela for the town's interconnection to Palanan in order to lessen the travel time going to Palanan Airport which brings people from these coastal towns to mainland Isabela.

"The proposed construction of this road linking to that of Palanan is still on process through the intervention of 1st District Congressman Rodito Albano", Bulan said. (PIA Isabela) [top]
