NLRC XI wins 61% of total cases filed

Davao City (9 February) -- The National Labor Relations, Commission, Regional Arbitration Branch XI (NLRC, RAB XI) bared today that at least 1,227 cases has been disposed in the year 2007.

Out of the 1,489 cases handled, it has disposed 1,227 cases (1,186 for local/regular cases and 41 OFW cases) or a percentage of disposal rates of 82%.

Cases were disposed through amicable settlement - 35%; decision on the merits 41% and others which are dismissed without prejudice, withdrawn, transferred, etc. 24%. It has also won 746 cases which constitute 61%.

The NLRC's primary objective is to maintain a current status in its docket. This means that the case shall be disposed within a 6-month period from its filing date.

With a mindset focused to its targets and commitments, the National Labor Relations Commission, Regional Arbitration Branch XI docket of cases has presently maintained to its current status which is the NLRC major objective. (NLRC-grb) [top]
