PRC ranks NVizcaya criminology college as best in RP
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (February 26) -- The Professional Regulations Commission(PRC) has recognized a criminology school in this town as best in the country.
The PRC adjudged the College of Criminology of the Programming Language Technique College (PLTC) here as the best in Category A schools nationwide during a recent affair in Manila Hotel. Category A means-a school with one hundred fifty and above examinees.
PLTC was also adjudged as consistent best criminology school in region 02 which was awarded by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) regional director Virginia Resurreccion in January 8 this year.
Records showed that from 2000 to 2007, more than half of PLT College examinees had passed the licensure examination for criminologists even going beyond the national passing percentage mark.
PLTC graduates now occupy top positions and membership to the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and as professional criminology teachers.
PLTC is now preparing for a Level I accreditation by the Private Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) which is set on March 24-25 this year. (PIA NVizcaya) [top]
