Davao City (10 July) -- Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao campus will be celebrating its 20th founding anniversary on July 10 and 11, 2008 with the theme "Pisay at 20:Moving Onwards".

The 2-day activity will be opened by a thanksgiving ecumenical service to be celebrated by Father Daniel MacNamara, S.J Imam Mudathir Palis and pastor William Lotero. This is to thank Almighty for blessing Pisay with 20 triumphant years.

A Social Action Program (Pakiglambigit) and an Outreach Activity (Techno Transfer) will afterwards be held wherein invited schools from different areas of the city will take part and will be shared with pisay's resources and knowledge.

The 2 dormitories the Boys Residence Hall and Girls Residence Hall will also have open house until noon of the same day, July 10,2008 Along with these programs there is going to be a community fair Here each section will set up booth and sell goodies Awards await class with the biggest income and the most decorative booth By 2:00 P M 'Laro na Lahi will be oroanized at the area.

On July 11, 2008, the 2nd day of PSHS-SMC's 20th Founding Anniversary celebration, everyone is invited to come and grace the "Pisayahan atbp 2008". The school will have as its guest speaker, none other than Atty karlo Alexis B. Nograles. He will also lead the turning over of the fence project and the unveiling of the marker. He too will induct into office the newly elected set of officers of PSHS-SMC Foundation, Inc. PTA, DPA, and SG.

Moreover, during the "Pisayahan" deserving teachers and staff will receive plque of recognition and cash incentive for loyalty serving Pisay for 20, 15 or 10 years. There will also be folk dance and kundiman competition among the four year levels. Much awaited too aside from the talk of Atty. Nograles, is the speech of the new Director of Pisay, Mrs. Delia C. Legaspino.
