Lagawe employees undergo gender sensitivity training

Lagawe, Ifugao (3 October) -- The Local Government Unit here conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) on October 1 and 2 to improve the capacities of its personnel in creating a gender-sensitive environment for the economic development of women.

Mayor Ceasario Cabbigat said that this training is one of the activities identified by the Municipal Technical Working Group in the revised annual plan of the Gender-Responsive Economic Actions for the Transformation of Women (GREAT WOMEN) project.

Participated by regular employees and elected officials of the LGU, the GST is a special program being implemented in partnership with the Philippine Commission on Women formerly the National Commission Role of Filipino Women. (PIA-Ifugao) [top]
