Feature: Household of faith, serving the people

Davao City (6 October) -- Household of Faith (HOF) Family Center, an organization committed to serve mankind, is encouraging people to be part of the Family Center and be of service to the needs of the community.

In its ReGeneration 3rd year anniversary celebration held last September 25, 2009 (Friday) night at its Center located at the New Davao theatre, CM Recto Street, Davao City, thousands of members, especially the young generation, participated during the event.

Carrying its theme as: "Extinction: Total Wipeout", the celebration focused on the love of God, serving fellow men, and reaching other nations.

Both young and adults have enjoyed varieties of great music with encouraging messages and Bible passages that made them feel the presence of God.

Rev. Herley and Nelly Montes, HOF Senior Pastors led the celebration including young Pastors Joel and Judith Montes, Assistant and Youth Pastors of Regeneration (REGEN), a youth ministry of HOF.

At REGEN, we believe that it is possible to change the future today by helping the young people change their lives for the betterment, said Pastor Joel Montes.

Our main objective is to reach the young generation and help them become fully devoted followers of Christ by inspiring them to be leaders and be able to reach others for Christ, he further said.

REGEN provides an atmosphere that is suited for the needs of the young. Every Friday night, the young generation enjoys the contemporary praises and worship songs related to God.

HOF is offering Regeneration services for the young. The Youth service starts at 7:00pm to 9:00pm while regular services are being held every Sunday starting at 10:00am to 12:00 noon; and from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. (HOF/Erik Lumagsao) [top]
