ComVal receives assorted medicine from PCSO

Compostela Valley (17 November) -- The province received about 25,000 bottles of assorted medicines from Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) last October 15, 2009 at PCSCO Office, Davao City. According to Mr. Romeo Miranda-Supply Officer Designate of COMVAL, those medicines (bottled and tablets) were turned-over by Atty. Joy Rama, the legal officer of PCSO.
Released medicines includes 200 boxes of 100 tablets Paracetamol 500 mg., 390 boxes 100 tablets Ascorbic Acid 500 mg., 1,190 boxes 100 capsules Amoxicillin 500 mg.,189 boxes 100 caps Mefenamic Acid 500 mg., and 186 boxes 100 tablets Metoprolol 100 mg.
Also received during the day were 5,472 bottles of Paracetamol 250mg/5ml 60 ml syrup, 5,904 bottles Ascorbic Acid 100mg/5ml 60 ml syrup, 5,328 bottles Amoxicillin 250mg/ml powder for suspension 60 ml, 2,808 bottles Amoxicillin 100mg/ml powder for suspension 10 ml (oral drops), 2,808 bottles Paracetamol 100mg/ml 15 ml syrup, 2,808 bottles Ascorbic Acid 100mg/ml 15ml syrup.
Said medicines will be given for free to all indigent patients by Governor Arturo T. Uy through different medical outreach conducted by the Provincial Health Office as well as to the four (4) District Hospitals of the Province. (IDS COMVAL) [top]
