19 provincial candidates in Ifugao file COCs

Lagawe, Ifugao (5 December) -- As the last day of filing Certificate of Candidacies (COCs) lapsed, 19 candidates here filed their COCs in the congressional and various provincial elective positions here.
Provincial Election Supervisor, Atty. Ricardo Bolintao said that of the 19, seven are running for congressman. They are Placido Wachayna Jr (Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino); Teddy Baguilat Jr. (Liberal Party); Jonathan Cuyahon (independent); Justin Licnachan (Nationalist People's Coalition): Dennis Habawel (Nationalista Party), Nelson Allaga (Lakas-CMD Kampi), and Albert Pawingi (Independent).
Three candidates filed their COCs for the gubernatorial race namely, Eugene Balitang (LP); Solomon Chungalao (Lakas-CMD-Kampi) and Manuel Dangayo (Independent).
Three also filed for the position Vice-Governor, Nora Dinamling (Lakas); Aloysius Lumauig (Ind) and Pedro Mayam-o (LP).
Eleven vied for the position of Board member in District 1 as follows: Virgilio Inhumang Jr; Emilio Bugatti, Jose Jordan Gullitiw, Robert Humiwat, Rodolfo Dulnuan, Robert Mangyao, Albert Indunan, Joaquin Dugyon Jr., Gabriel Buycan, Mariano Buyagawan Jr, and Victor Bunnol, Jr.
On the other hand, 12 filed their COCs for Board Member of District 2. They are Rolando Paligan, Aldrin Guingayan, Samson Atluna, George Gumman Jr, Clemente Bongtiwon, Fe Ballogan, Manuel Chilagan, Joseph Odan, Antonio Bangachon, Renato Patacsil, Roger Herman and James Dulnuan.
Meanwhile, all candidates who filed their COCs in the municipality of Kiangan opted to be independent candidates. There were two who filed for the position of mayor, Angelito Dulinayan and Joselito Guyguyon and Roel Dulnuan and Raldis Bulayungan for vice mayor while 28 filed for Sangguniang Bayan.
