Datu Khomeini performs in Tagum

Davao City (5 January) -- Known as the King of Moro Songs, Datu Khomeini Camsa Bansuan draws thousands of crowds at Tagum Cultural and Trade Center with his golden voice and singing talent by performing his original Moro song compositions and mixing the contemporary music with classical Moro musical tones and touches.

Datu Khomeini, as the first Moro singer signed by MIA Records of Central Mindanao, travels around Mindanao and went as far as Visayas, Luzon and with his first international concert in Kuwait where he captured the Arab world and the overwhelming crowd of thousands of Overseas Filipino Workers in year 2009.

At the height of continued violence in Mindanao, Datu Khomeini has heavily engaged himself in the relief operations in providing food to the helpless civilian evacuees. A significant portion of his earnings from concert fund were given to relief operations as he closely worked with the Assalam Bangsamoro People's Association and Aksyon ng Mamamayang Nagkakaisa (AMANA) wherein both organizations are actively involved in peace and poverty eradication advocacy.
