Feature: Agila Battalion's Christmas outreach program

Davao City (7 January) -- The entire Christian world are celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ every Christmas season, but not every home in Davao Oriental were so lucky to celebrate the same like other Filipino families.
To make every less fortunate family here in Davao Oriental feel the spirit of Christmas, the "Agila" Battalion under Ltc. Henry Doyaoen INF (GSC) PA prepared a simple but meaningful Christmas Outreach Program on 09, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22 Dec 09 dubbed as "Pamaskong Handog ng 67th Inf Bn".
The activity includes the delivery of gifts to the primary students of Sitio Basang, Brgy Lucatan, Taragona, and Sitio Panjugan, Brgy Salingcomot, Baganga Davao Oriental. The young pupils received school supplies, like coupon bond, papers according to their grades, folders, art paper, eraser, pencil, ballpen, spelling booklet, notebook, ruler, sharpener, fastener, plastic bag and scissor.
A Christmas party was also held in Barangays Mahan-ub and Lambajon that was attended by hundreds of local residents, the Civil Organization established by the Barangay residents in the different barangays and the Local officials.
The commander 67th IB also visited the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Baganga and the Cateel District Hospital and distributed grocery items and medicines/vitamins to 45 patients for their families. (10th ID) [top]
