Panabo launches one-stop-shop for permits
Panabo City (16 January) -- The Local Government of Panabo headed by Mayor Jose L. Silvosa, Sr. thru the Permit and License section launches the One-Stop-Shop at the new city hall lobby last Jan. 4, 2010 and will end on Jan. 20, 2010.
The One-Stop-Shop aims to increase the city's edge in luring investors by streamlining the process of business registration and licensing which will also serve as the city's one-stop information center for the investors and small and medium scale entrepreneurs (SMEs) in Panabo City.
This prompted the Permit and Licensing section to set up more facilities, such as additional assessment tables and chairs, at the ground of the City Hall building to accommodate more clients and to ensure comfort, convenience and easy access to different line agencies involved in getting and approving business license.
The offices involved in the renewal process are the City Treasurer's Office, City Licensing Division, Tricycle Adjudication Board, Computer Services Division, City Health Office, and City Planning and Development Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, among others.
"This shows that our business taxpayers have become more responsible and they now knew when to pay their taxes so as not to incur penalties and surcharges," said Dulce Relopez, head of licensing section.
She further encouraged business owners to renew their business license on or before Jan. 20, 2010. (Mark Gellor – Panabo City Information Office) [top]
