Workshop for Tagum's barangay children protection council held
Davao City (23 January) -- Tagum City's Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) headed by City Mayor Rey T. Uy and Chairperson for Family, Women and Children SP Member Ma Linda F. Baura initiated a One day Seminar-Workshop for the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC).
The seminar workshop held last January 21 was attended by about sixty five (65) heads comprising from Barangay Secretary, Treasurer and Sangguniang Kabataan coming from the 23 Barangay of Tagum City held at Lakans Place in this city.
The objective is to further creates awareness, enhancement and strengthen their reports and documentation including the packaging and pro-format filling of various forms for the BCPC's uniformity of documents in the Barangay level, as per suggestions and recommendation of the evaluators during the recent Regional Evaluation to Child Friendly City.
The line-up topics are as follows; Planning and Policy Formulation; Adopting Resolutions and Ordinances; Work Financial and Investment Plan; Health and Nutrition; Special Protection for the Children; Ideal Reading Center for Library and Child Participation in the Community.
