TCNHS alumni join public service
Tagum City (6 May) -- Members of the Tagum City National High School (TCNHS) Alumni Association involved themselves in public service through the "Munting Serbisyo Publiko Alay ng mga Alumni sa Inyo."
TCNHSAA members volunteered their services in the processing of documents in the offices of the Mobile Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) and the City Local Registrar Office (CLRO).
The association also coordinated with the City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) to help the unemployed find jobs.
The TCNHSAA thought of this public service as the easiest way to lend a hand and be able to cater to the needs of the Tagumeņos.
For a one-day activity held on May 2, 2010 at Tagum City National High School Gym, the association was able to help PRC processed 56 licenses for renewal and facilitated 69 documents for authentication with the CLRO.
Moreover, fifteen (15) job seekers were hired on the spot through the assistance of TCNHSAA. (Edwin and Ariel of CIO TAGUM) [top]
