Panabo City acquires brand new patrol car

Davao City (11 May) -- "Very timely ang pag-abot sa bag-ong Patrol Car specially this coming May 10, 2010 election" stressed by PSupt. Alexander Serrano Jr. during an interview right after the simple turn-over ceremony on May 4, 2010, 5 PM front of the New City Hall, this City.

The New Patrol Car is a Toyota Hilux pick upComelec1.3 Million. The City led by Mayor Silvosa has provided P 350,000 while the biggest amount P 950,000 was shouldered by the District 11 Congressional Office, headed by Cong. Antonio F. Lagdameo Jr.

With the Brand New Patrol Car, the Police could react on time even with limited personnel and distance from the New PNP Station, Serrano said. He was also grateful not only to the LGU and Congressional Office for their support but also with the help of the organized radio group (Recon Enterprise, Urgent, Recon Valiant and PARE) led by Mr. Dennis Develleres and other Panaboans for their information/report and surveillance on any suspected criminal or illegal activities. At present, Panabo is very peaceful and more manageable for the PNP is "ON TOP" of the situation Serrano added.

PNP Panabo City has already prepared their Security plans for the HOPE (Honest, Orderly and Peaceful Election). They are just waiting for the instructions from the comelec because the comelec calls the shots during election period.

So far, there are ten (10) baraggays in Panabo City considered critical, yet these were under the Philippine Army. However, any unto-wards incident, the PNP will always be available to facilitate the investigation. Thus, in every polling precinct, PNP Panabo is putting up an assistance desk to facilitate any concern. (CIO Panabo) [top]
