ComVal joins celebration of 110th Philippine Civil Service anniversary
Compostela Valley Province (8 September) -- The provincial government spearheaded in the opening of the celebration of the 110th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service on September 6, 2010 held at the Capitol and attended by the province's officials and employees, national agencies, and other guests.
Everybody sang the Awit ng Serbisyo Sibil led by the ComVal Minstrels and recited the Service Pledge led by Ms. Lara Zaphire Kristy N. Bermejo, HRMO. The Provincial Director of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Richard T. Ortiz presented the CSC update.
He also presented the new CSC logo which bears the colors of the national flag (red, blue, and yellow) emphasizing that the Philippine Civil Service Commission represents the whole civil service of the country. He also handed to Governor T. Uy the letter from the CSC Chair, Dr. Francisco Duque III thanking and commending the governor and the whole provincial government for a responsive, accessible, courteous, and effective public service. The unveiling of the CSC- RACE Exhibit followed, showcasing the programs and projects of the provincial government.
