Soldiers on fifth week of crusade to save Tulyahan river

Davao City (20 November) -- Troops of the National Development Support Command (NADESCOM) are now on the fifth week of the crusade to save Tulyahan river today (November 20, 2010).
"Save Tulyahan River Project" is spearheaded by the Diocese of Novaliches with Italian priest, Father Luciano Feloni as Project Director.
Partner organizations in the clean-up drive are: NADESCOM, Metro Manila Development Authority, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Quezon City LGU and Barangay Officials.
The clean-up drive is a weekly activity of the partner organizations that aims to rehabilitate Tulyahan River and bring environmental consciousness to people. Everyone is encouraged to help. (NADESCOM/AFP) [top]
