Mayor Duterte orders PNP, military to be on high alert

Cagayan de Oro City (13 October) -- Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, who is also the Presidential Adviser on Anti-terrorism, has instructed the Police and Military authorities to be on high alert level following the bombing incidents in some parts of Central Mindanao particularly in Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat provinces.

Moreover, Philippine National Police (PNP)-11 Regional Director Chief Supt. Ricardo Quinto said that while the government has been reaping significant gains in reducing the threat of terrorism, the PNP has vowed they will never give a chance for the terrorists to carry out their plots in the region.
