Dapitan City to host regional press confab

Dipolog City (28 November) -- Budding campus journalists will converge in Dapitan City for the annual regional schools press conference (RSPC) by the Department of Education (DepEd) starting today.

The city schools division of Dapitan City is this year’s host to the RSPC, which will be attended by student-delegates from the schools divisions of Dipolog City, Dapitan City, Pagadian City, Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur.

This year's press conference has for its theme: Promoting a culture of through responsible journalism.

Campus writers shall pit their skills against fellow participants in news writing, editorial writing, feature writing, editorial cartooning, copyediting, layouting and others.

The Zamboanga del Norte schools division played host to last year's RSPC which was held in Manukan town. (PIA) [top]
