PIA Press Release

PCSO holds Ecija "Walang Kupas" roadshow

Cabanatuan City (24 September) -- The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in its newest promotional campaign goes to Central Luzon, specifically the hub to the north, Cabanatuan City, on September 27, 2007.

Dubbed as "Walang Kupas Roadshow," the medical mission and concert hopes to be a creative jackpot in the word-of-mouth ads, the mainstream press and the blogosphere.

It appears to have much to offer- to those who worry about the soaring cost of health care reform for the Filipinos,

The groundwork to holistic approaches - finding meaning to responsive medical care and developing talents for evocative, original music maybe a staggering, far-reaching ambition. But somehow flexibilities of Pinoys must keep the ball rolling.

Mobile charity could be a nice way to disseminate the charity role of PCSO. The effective health-intervention mechanism bodes well for the less fortunate with access to basic health services. The humanitarian mission could provide initial flexibilities as to the needs of the Filipinos. Over the years, the PCSO provided tangible results in this respect.

In a more innovative field, the musical aspect is a case of charity in a way for bands who need exposure. Original Filipino music and popular compositions as well maybe given the pulse rate with the public. In so doing, winners of the band search would have chances to showcase their winning style.

Parenthetically, the venue of the product promotion and services happens to be the Nueva Ecija High School - the biggest secondary institution in Nueva Ecija with more than 7,000 student-population.

"The school gymnasium is a fitting setting for large activities such as the road show presentation," according to organizers headed by Gear Up, a veteran outfit of mix gigs. (PIA) [top]
