Korean language center now in Gensan
General Santos City (8 October) -- H.S. Son Language Center, Inc. has opened here recently. The school offers Basic Korean Language Course for interested individuals.
In a press conference with local media, Son Heung Sik, owner of the school, offers 2 curricula: 120 hours course and 60 hours course.
A 20-hour review classes is also included in preparation for the Korean Language Test (KLT).
The test is a requirement in hiring OFWs in Korea, Son said.
He added that at present, hiring of Filipino workers in Korea is through government to government arrangement.
But Son clarified that theirís is a language school and not a recruitment agency.
He added that his language school is accredited with TESDA (NTR No. 0712031114).
The school is open to male and female, 18-38 years old, and at least high school graduate, Son said. (CPIO/PIA SarGen) [top]
