BSP stats users' forum set October 18

LEGAZPI CITY (10 October) -- For the observance of the 18th National Statistics Month (NSM) this October, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will conduct its 6th Annual Regional Users' Fora on BSP-Produced Statistics.

BSP Bicol regional director Iluminada T. Sicat said the forum is an advocacy of the BSP to inform the public and enhance their appreciation on the BSP-produced and price statistics and their uses. Topics to be covered at the forum are the following: Balance of payments; financial indicators; business and consumer expectations survey(s); and price statistics.

The forum will be held on Thursday, October 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Hotel Venezia Convention Hall, Renaissance Gardens I this city. (BSP/PIA) [top]
