Cadaver of Indian national found in La Union creek

Camp President Quirino, Ilocos Sur (7 October) -- Police operatives found a cadaver of slain Indian national at the west side of the national highway in Barangay Sta. Fe, Agoo, La Union last Monday morning.
Police identified the victim as Sarbijit Singh, 23, a resident of Barangay Baccuit Norte, Bauang, La Union.
Police said that about 6:20 morning last Monday when they responded to a report on a discovered male cadaver sprawled at the creek on the west side of the national highway in said barangay.
Investigation disclosed that Singh bore stab wounds on his right breast, and believed to be dumped in the place where his body was found. The cadaver was immediately subjected for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) assisted in the investigation at the crime scene. Police said that in-depth probe of the case is now ongoing. (PIA Ilocos Sur) [top]
