Koronadal's Biocrest cited as outstanding transport cooperative

Koronadal City (25 October) -- Biocrest Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Transport Services has been adjudged as the Most Outstanding Transport Cooperative in the 6th Regional Cooperative Summit XII recently in the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.
Biocrest was organized in General Santos City by employees and officers of Biocrest Corporation, Eleventh Marketing Corporation, Multi-purpose Cooperative to address the credit and consumer needs of its members.
It was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XII bearing Registration Number RN-4687 in Davao.
The increased in the Authorized Capital from Three Million Pesos (P 3,000,000) to Twelve Million Pesos (P 12,000,000) and the number of Board of Directors from five (5) to seven (7) was also approved.
Recently, the cooperative have developed a two (2) hectares coop property at National Highway, Sarabia (Bo. 8), Koronadal City into a 114 residential and commercial lots with all amenities to be sold exclusively to its members.
Biocrest is also being the only bus transport services and traversing the perennially war conflict areas of Maguindano and Sultan Kudarat. (PIA 12) [top]
